The Observer is today speculating that Paul Haggis will be making it a hat-trick of James Bond films as he is 'likely' to be working on the screenplay for the 23rd adventure in the series - and Daniel Craig's third time out in the tuxedo.
The paper reports, "This week's French prison thriller Anything For Her is the latest foreign language film to be lined up for an American makeover. Director Paul Haggis, the man behind Crash and In The Valley of Elah, has secured the rights and, I understand, has offered the Diane Kruger part of the wrongly imprisoned woman to Charlize Theron. Haggis will write, direct and produce the remake of Anything For Her (French title Pour Elle - which clearly sounds too much like a bad perfume) and is tentatively calling it The Next Three Days. Shooting is scheduled to begin this summer. I hear that Haggis is also likely to feature as script writer on the next Bond movie, having assisted on the last two. No clues as to the next movie have come from the Broccoli camp just yet. Fresh from the close of BFI Southbank's two-month tribute to Cubby's films, Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson will confirm nothing other than that Daniel Craig will still be 007."
Paul Haggis polished the script by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade for "Casino Royale", and also for "Quantum of Solace" just before the writers strike.

Lets how P&W quit alltogether and give the job to Paul Haggis. Surely he cannot be as bad as them.
